Bauhaus Icons
Bauhaus Icons is an exhibition focused on designs from furniture to graphics. One of the most popular styles, the Bauhaus helped the design world step away from the ornate designs of the early 20th century with its emphasis on function over form.

Design Rationale
The Bauhaus Icons book is designed to highlight some of the most memorable works within the exhibit. It is typeset in a simple and organized way that relates to the design methodologies of the Bauhaus.
Secondly, the cover design is created with primary shapes and colours which were prevalent throughout Bauhaus visual identity. The cover image is a simplified image of the Harbour Centre along with Canada Place, which are two iconic silhouettes of Vancouver.
Posters and Merchandise
The components in the next section are designed as items to be shown in the Vancouver Art Gallery’s gift shop. The posters and bags carry the visual identity of the exhibit to help create lasting memories of the experience at the exhibit.
